The Main House

The house is approached by a long winding driveway leading to the front of the main house. From this arrival point, the view across the countryside and to the sea takes your breath away.

You enter the house through tall wooden doors and find yourself in a large light hall with a ceiling stretching up to the full height of the next floor. Ahead lies the spacious living room (45 m2), with an open fire place and large comfortable sofas. To the right of the living room is the dining room (26 m2) which seats eight to ten. Both the living room and dining room open onto the outside sitting area, shaded under arches from the hot sun with Indonesian and Moroccan furniture – a perfect place for a midday or evening glass of rosé.

The area looks out onto a lawn, again with that view sans pareil. Steps lead off the lawn up to the swimming pool which is situated on a higher level. To the left of the entrance hall is a television room and study (24m2), with a wide screen television (with free view SKY TV) and DVD player. To the right is the large kitchen (32m2) which has wooden beams and can itself sit eight to ten people.

The kitchen is Provenç̧al style with a mix of wood, stone and modern steel. It has a range style double oven (gas and electric), two dishwashers, a microwave, an American fridge/freezer and a state of the art coffee/expresso machine.

There is also a table for sitting and eating outside the kitchen. Taking the stairs from the entrance hall, you arrive at the bedrooms.

The magnificent master bedroom – The Fragonard Suite – is large with a super king-size bed and has an en suite bath and shower (together, 41m2). You can sit in the bath with a glass of champagne or with your partner (or preferably both), from there enjoy the view across the olive trees and to the Mediterranean!

The next bedroom – The Room with the View – is also a double room (15m2) and has an en suite shower-room and wc. The glorious view from this bedroom can be appreciated from the bed or the shower.

On this level there is another large room (23m2) – The Four-Poster Room – with an antique four-poster double bed. Just next to this room is a bathroom and wc.

There is also a large utility room with full laundry facilities for washing and drying clothes.

As you enter the area of the house adjacent to the Pool house terrace, you will find two more double bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. The Garden Room has a Twin bedded room, with two single beds (92×190); This large room (17m2) has wooden floors, a large walk in shower and WC en-suite with private access to the garden through patio doors. The Pool View Room has wood floors and en-suite shower room & WC with wonderful view of the pool.
16 m2 (53 ft) king size DBL bed 150 X 200.

Other bedrooms are located in the Olive Grove apartments. The house is a family home (in use outside the summer season), so it is decorated and designed as a home not as a secondary residence. The main house is a stone building and retains the cool in the summer: but all bedrooms and living rooms still have ceiling fans.
